Warm my cold heart, Lord, I implore You. Take away all that prevents me from giving myself to You. Mold me according to Your image. Give me grace to obey You in all things and to always follow Your gracious leading. Help me today to be kind to my fellow man, to be gentle and unselfish, careful to hurt no one by word or deed, but anxious to do good to all, and to make others happy. O Lord, forgive the sins of my temper. Pardon all my hasty words and unchristian thoughts. Make me watchful, that I do not offend with my words. Give me a meek and loving spirit, which is of great value in Your sight. May I live not to gratify myself, but to please You. Keep me from sin this day, and all that may offend You; for Jesus Christ’s sake–Amen.
